Set in the beuatiful township of Vernazza one of the villages in teh Cinque Terre on Italy's north western coast.

Il Pirata delle Cinque Terre, Vernazza, Italy is operated by two Sicilian brothers Gianluca and Massimo while known for breakfast with a pastry menu that makes your mouth water, the lunch and dinner menu items are also outstanding.  Their Granitas are also amazing. 

Everything is of course, made by hand on the premises, using the best natural ingredients in the traditional sicilian way. 

With Vernazza considered by many to be the most beautiful of the five villages and a great launch point for walking the hills and trails to the other villages. Il Pirata delle Cinque Terre provides great nourishment before you set off with an amazing breakfast menu and then great recovery food when you return with a wonderful lunch and dinner options.


 

Getting there

Trains from Livorno/Pisa or from Milan/Genova stop at the La Spezia central rail station. There you will find regional trains leaving every hour which take you to the short trip to Vernazza.

By car from La Spezia proceed westbound from Exit A15 towards Lerici-Port, continue on Via Carducci, turn left onto Viale Italy, Viale Amendola continues. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Viale Nazario Sauro then turn right on Via Fabio Filzi . Slight left at Via Coderone, continue on Via delle Cinque Terre/SP370 continues to follow the SP370. At the roundabout take the 1st exit on SP51, turn left to stay on SP51, turn left onto SP61. Turn Location Sero Alta/SP61 right, turn hard right in San Bernardino/SP61, turn slightly left into Via Ettore Vernazza/SP61. Slight left in any way Gavino where just before the square, you will find the Pirate of 5 Terre.
