Cervecería Ricardo, Mora, Spain

Mora is a small town south of Madrid and southeast of Toledo and is on the Don Quixote Trial and the perfect spot to break for lunch is this delightful pub Cerviceria Ricardo. The Cerviceria Ricardo is located on the Plaza de la Constitucion near the Mora Town Hall. There is plenty of street parking near the restaurant.

The owner has worked in the pub for over 60 years and started their as a young teenager. this is the true Spain... He told us not to bother with the menu and bought out an amazing tapas that included venison, rabbit, prosciutto and other wonderful treats. And of course olives! After all Mora is one of the largest Olive Oil producing regions. The food was incredible and the atmosphere great.

Every year, on the last Sunday in April, Mora hosts the Fiesta del Olivo or Olive FestivalThis date marks the end of the olive harvest and is celebrated with exhibitions, olive oil tastings, an olive oil competition and other cultural events.
